2009 Hot Rod Hall of Fame

Wow!  The 2009 Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame Banquet and Awards Presentation was fantastic.  There were over 300 car lovers present. This was the Old Rides Car Club's first year attending but it certainly wont be our last.  There were many familiar faces and many, many new ones. 

As usual Lance Lambert was a great MC as was Steve Bender, the co-host.  Steve, yes, we know you are the Chairman! (smile).  There was lots sharp-witted banter between them and with the audience.  It was a very relaxed, yet well orchestrated event.  The amount of work they put into it showed and EVERYONE had a good time.  We had more than a few belly laughs along the way.

I want to offer big congratulations to all the inductees.  It is a hard earned reward and the folks selected were very well deserving of such recognition.  They were all beaming with pride and several received standing ovations from the crowd!  We are all very proud for them...
